Front-End Developer

Location: Colombo 9 
Work Type: Onsite / Hybrid Minimum 3 Days in Office
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Contract: 1-Year (With Potential for Full-Time Based on Performance)
Immediate Joiners or Candidates Available Within 1-3 Weeks Preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for UI/dashboard development, migrating legacy codebases to modern frameworks, integrating REST APIs with React, improving and maintaining frontend systems, fixing bugs, and handling other frontend-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy codebases to modern frameworks.
• Develop and maintain frontend components for dashboards and UI.
• Integrate REST APIs with React applications.
• Implement mobile-first, responsive designs using CSS media queries.
• Fix bugs and optimize frontend performance.
• Ensure code quality and adhere to security best practices.

Key Competencies & Skillsets

• Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, CSS3, HTML5, React, and Next.js.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with React applications.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR).
• Strong understanding of web security principles (OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices).
• Experience with responsive design and CSS media queries.
• Proficiency in Git version control (branching, merging, etc.).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

• This job description may be subject to change based on business needs.
• The contract includes a one-month notice period.
• Candidates who perform well during the contract period may be considered for full-time employment.
