Job Description

• responsible for the improvement of the user experience and optimization of the checkout / purchase processes 
• independent development of frontend AB tests for WELT.de and BILD.de (starting with simple static page elements up to complex, dynamic components with interfaces to backend systems) 
• development according to the design specifications of our designers 
• further development of our framework for the creation of tests 
• tracking and analysis of user behavior 
• analysis, visualization and presentation of results 

Qualifications

• very good knowledge of JavaScript (Typescript), stylesheets (Sass). 
• experience with at least one of the following frameworks: React, Angular or Vue.JS 
• experience with Amazon Web Services and NodeJS is advantageous 
• a sense for good / bad user experience 
• ideas to work around technical imponderables and find alternative, elegant solutions 
• the urge to improve and optimize code permanently 
• an eye for details (including potential challenges) when implementing design specifications
