Reporting to the VP, Architecture, the Frontend Developer (Web) will be responsible for the following duties and obligations:

Job Title: Frontend Developer (Web)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in React to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in web development and a strong background in building dynamic, high-performance user interfaces. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into interactive and responsive web applications, working closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Development:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Implement user interfaces based on design specifications, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and React.
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and architecture.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement design concepts and ensure a cohesive look and feel across applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of web applications.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Ensure that applications meet performance, accessibility, and security standards.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously seek ways to improve development processes and workflows.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining web applications using React and related technologies.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
