Description
  • A major European customer with over 1,000 employees is establishing an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Vietnam.
  • Team Composition: The ODC team will consist of 10 members, including Backend (Java), Backend (.NET), Frontend (React, TypeScript), and Manual Testing roles.
  • Work Location: Hanoi office.
  • Transition Plan: After approximately one year, the customer plans to acquire the team and sign direct contracts with the staff. This timeline may adjust depending on the customer’s decision.
  • Domain: Fintech.
  • Project Scale: A global team of 150 members across multiple countries.


Requirements

Must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in frontend development.
  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including advanced concepts like semantic HTML and Accessibility.
  • Practical experience with TypeScript and React.
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries or preprocessors, such as Styled Components, SCSS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Previous exposure to working in foreign companies or collaborating with international teams, managers, or clients, particularly from Europe and the U.S. with a minimum of 10 members.
  • English: Conversational.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in the fintech industry.
  • Knowledge of Reactive Programming with tools like RxJS or the Observable pattern.
  • Experience with Functional Programming concepts using libraries like fp-ts, lodash, or Algebraic Data Types.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side rendering tools like NextJS.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Skills in web performance analysis, using tools such as DevTools profiling or Lighthouse Web Vitals.
  • Understanding of WCAG standards for web accessibility.


Benefits
  • Salary: up to 65.000.000 Gross VND.
  • Working hours: 9 AM - 6 PM, or 10 AM - 7 PM, from Monday to Friday.
  • Contract type: Service contract.
  • Expected on-board time: after Tet, 17/02/2025 at the latest.
