A major European customer with over 1,000 employees is establishing an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Vietnam.
Team Composition: The ODC team will consist of 10 members, including Backend (Java), Backend (.NET), Frontend (React, TypeScript), and Manual Testing roles.
Work Location: Hanoi office.
Transition Plan: After approximately one year, the customer plans to acquire the team and sign direct contracts with the staff. This timeline may adjust depending on the customer’s decision.
Domain: Fintech.
Project Scale: A global team of 150 members across multiple countries.
Requirements
Must have:
At least 5 years of experience in frontend development.
In-depth understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including advanced concepts like semantic HTML and Accessibility.
Practical experience with TypeScript and React.
Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries or preprocessors, such as Styled Components, SCSS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.
Previous exposure to working in foreign companies or collaborating with international teams, managers, or clients, particularly from Europe and the U.S. with a minimum of 10 members.
English: Conversational.
Nice to have:
Experience working in the fintech industry.
Knowledge of Reactive Programming with tools like RxJS or the Observable pattern.
Experience with Functional Programming concepts using libraries like fp-ts, lodash, or Algebraic Data Types.
Hands-on experience with server-side rendering tools like NextJS.
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for unit and end-to-end testing.
Skills in web performance analysis, using tools such as DevTools profiling or Lighthouse Web Vitals.
Understanding of WCAG standards for web accessibility.
Benefits
Salary: up to 65.000.000 Gross VND.
Working hours: 9 AM - 6 PM, or 10 AM - 7 PM, from Monday to Friday.
Contract type: Service contract.
